Tanomah climate is moderate throughout the year, with a relatively slight increase in temperature in the summer. Tanomah is different from its neighbors, Alnamas and Ballasmar where it is a little colder and a low density of the fog in winter. This is due to the place of Tanomah valley which is surrounded by mountains varying in height which led to different temperatures readings .
Wind: The south-western monsoon blows in Tanomah in the summer, leading to mild temperatures and seasonal rains .
Temperature: Tanomah is influenced by being close to the Red Sea which is only about 96 km. Therefore, moderate temperatures in summer and in particular periods of the day are obsereved. Different temperatures are measured in Tanomah in contrast to those in the lowlands of Tihamah , where the temperature is higher .
Clouds: Heavy clouds are Composed on Tanomah resulting in rainy weather in summer, and thus unlike most parts of the Kingdom where rain falls in winter. This does not prevent falling rain on Tanomah in winter.
Rain: The heavy monsoon rains in the summer at a rate of 400 to 500 mm a year and usually in large quantities, resulting (sometimes)in distruction of farms and agricultural crops.Rain falls in winter, but in smaller quantities than in summer at an average rate of between 200 to 300 mm annually.
Fog and humidity: Fog is Composed on Tanomah in winter. Humidity gets less in fall and reaches its highest point in winter. Some studies have indicated that humidity doesnt get lower than 50% as an average but it may get higher.
